Thousands from all over the Niagara Frontier flocked
to the Lockport Kenan Center Arena the weekend of June 1-3 to view the outstanding craft
exhibits of the annual event that draws craftsmen from all over the United States.
The show is regarded as one of the best of its type in the Eastern United States.
Participation is limited to 100 professional craftsmen and the slots are sought
after for months before the exhibit opens each year (this is the 31st year).
Applications by craftspeople to exhibit are selected by a special review committee.
A couple of our Lockport Pagers paid $5 each to tour the exhibit and take pictures of what appeared, to
their eyes, the "best of show."

The above fish dish and other colorful works is the craft of Katherine Gullo, Portland, New York. Below, the model of vintage vehicles is from the woodworking shop of Russell Fullone of Hamburg, New York.

The rich inlaid tables shown below are the work of Christopher Peehler of Tonawanda, New York.
