"Gosh, I never thought it looked so nice!" That was one of the first reactions to this outstanding aerial photograph of Gasport, Lockport's eastern suburb. Everything looks so in order. Our view centers on the Main Street lift bridge over the Erie Barge Canal as the camera looks down and to the southeast. That's State Street ("...that Great Street") just south of the canal and moving across the picture from top to bottom. The photograph was taken July 14, 2000 by Lockport aerial photographer, Dick Gallagher. Enjoy!
