Property owners along Pine Avenue in Niagara Falls have been sponsoring some quite attractive wall art as part of an overall upgrade of the Pine Avenue "Little Italy" shopping district. Seen below is an appropriate wall mural on the building of the Cristoforo Colombo Society at 2223 Pine Avenue.
The Pine Pharmacy at 2316 Pine Avenue has the mural below on one of its outside walls honoring "The Pharmacist" and done in the Norman Rockwell style.
There are several other outdoor murals up and down Pine Avenue including one of long time standing at Macri's Palace Restaurant in the Pine Avenue Market Place at 755 West Market.
During 2000 a number of rennovation projects for the Pine Avenue Business district will continue and the city and the Pine Avenue Business Association cooperate to create a "Little Italy" theme in the city's last remaining vibrant shopping area.
