A Very Special Friend

I felt the need to pay tribute to a very special person, David G. Mahley. He and I had become friends for a short while, however, never meeting yet, but having a special feeling that we may have found our soulmate in each other and that our lives would come together. We were very much looking forward towards that day as we had planned , but David was taken away. He was kind, and caring and a very special person all around. He was one in a million! I would like to send my deepest sympathy to his family and close friends, whom he has spoken of in high regard. One Of Lockport's Finest

I was sorry to hear about Mike Tomaino's death.  Back in the fifties we used to have to cross Transit Street's railroad, on our way to North Park School.  He would greet us with a smile and tease us about getting on to school.  Sometimes that smile was such a relief to us who may have had a bad beginning of the morning.  We have always remembered him.        To the family, I am sorry for your loss.  And to Mike, I don't think that you will ever know just how much you brightened a kid's day.   My prayers go out to you and your family. ---Sandra Keller
