How It Works
Tell Lockportians everywhere what you have to sell using this inexpensive
"want ad" or "fleamarket" online feature---brand new for November
2005! The rules are simple. Send us via E-Mail what you want
advertised, EXACTLY as you want it worded using simple, E-Mail plain text.
We'll "copy and paste" your ad here on our Tell and Sell
feature page. Please use good taste in what you advertise and what you say. We
reserve the right to edit and/or reject anything and everything. All items &
copy must be legal.
The cost is $10 for up to a year for the same listing.
You may have it repeated, month after month, at no additional charge by
sending us an e-mail near the end of each month into the future. This was designed
for non-commercial advertisers but we'll see how it goes and try not to be restrictive to
any group. If this feature is successful the charge will be $15 per listing at some
point in the future, to more adequately cover costs, but for a limited time your price is
only $10.
Limit of 100 words per listing. If you wish to add a good
picture (which could be worth a thousand words) send it as a .jpg file attachment to your
e-mail and add another $10. Everything expect payment must be submitted by E-Mail
to:

All ads must contain only an E-Mail address for response. No s-mail
addresses or telephone numbers. Upon acceptance we will e-mail back to your address
a confirmation. Your ad will be online within a day after this confirmation is sent.
At this point you immediately mail us a check or Money Order to cover all
charges. Your E-Mail confirmation is your only billing. Send payment to: Lockport
Home Page, P.O. Box 676, Lockport, NY 14095. Make your check payable to the
webmaster, Robert Rooney.
This feature is under test. We make no guarantee it will continue
past one month but it is our intent to keep it active as a permanent feature. The
charge we make is designed to cover all costs and the amount above those costs will be a
donation to keeping the Lockport Home Page on line. We will revise the
layout and format as we get feedback from Lockportians and experience doing the set-ups.
Your ad automatically cancels in a month if you don't renew it (free). If you
wish to make any future changes in copy, we consider it a new insert, and the charge is
another $10.
Your comments and suggestions, especially now at the outset, are most
welcome.

Electric Heater, portable, 1500/1100 watts $10.;----
Sharp Carousel II Microwave Oven, 1020 watts @120 VAC ~ 19.5" x
13.25" x 12.25" $ 25;---- Marine metal gasoline cans,
~5-gal each, removed from marina, all rinsed and last used believed OK, non-leakers, some
with connecting hoses and connectors. Total of 20 of them for $50.----Everything

2005 office upgrade. No guarantees but all believed to be working. HP, SONY
brands included. 13" to 16" screens. With usual mounts. Most with
connecting cables. Not tested. All five of them for $10.----Professional
Laboratory Glassware. All "classic chemical" used, but good,
clean, condition. Flasks, beakers, reagent bottles (many with engraved chemical names).
Many "Pyrex" or heat resistant. Multitude of uses or for decor touches. Sold in
groups of 10 for $25. Sample group pictured. Lockport area only. For a

Help Wanted
E-Mail Directory Editor - This is a volunteer,
no-pay position with the Lockport Home Page. You will receive e-mail
submissions and updates from Lockportians all over the world. You'll re-format material
received, changing it into our Directory format and then send off new/revised listings
about weekly to the Page Editor to be published. See our Keeping
In Touch section to evaluate the service and what we need.
This is a very important and popular feature on the Lockport website that needs frequent
updates. Residence in Lockport not required. You must have WORD format on your
