The Fatima Basilica is the center for Shrine adoration. In foreground a fraction of The
Rosary Pond which is a part of one of the largest outdoor rosaries in the world.

During the warm weather months, thousands come to this national shrine daily. It is a popular place for prayer, retreat, and photographic opportunities.

Established in 1954, fashioned after the Fatima of Lisbon, Portugal, this country devotional center of over 15 acres is operated by the Barnabite Fathers. The Barnabites are an international order of Catholic priests with their North American Mother House and Seminary located just to the west of the Shrine property. Fatima USA is open to the public every day of the year.

There are daily devotions conducted here every day of the year. Some of the events during a typical month include Mass in the Fatima Basilica (Daily), Rosary & Benediction, Healing Services, First Saturday Devotions, and Pilgrimages. Additionally, all the services of a Catholic Church are available here including (daily) Confessions. See Information Guide on next page.

Inside The Fatima Basilica

Behind the main alter, made of Italian Carra marble, is the world-famous 24 by 7.5-foot
Peace Mural . The left side shows the consequences of a lack of peace. The right side
depicts a tranquil world , a scene of harmony, culture, plenty, and peace.

Along The Avenue Of Saints

Saint Patrick is one of over one hundred life-size marble satutes representing saints from every race and
walk of life. They remind visitors of those who excelled in their love for God and neighbor.

Fatima Hill

This statuary group of Our Lady of Fatima and the three children is the original Fatima group that has attracted thousands of
pilgrims since the very beginning of Fatima USA. The National Shrine here is a primary source of information about
the Fatima Experience of 1917 and world events related to it, including the "Three Secrets Of Fatima."
